I've tried factory reset of the router.
It was working fine for a moment, after a while it's back to what it was, limited or no connectivity.
Anybody? :(
Kind of desperate..

Hi @sxlange,
Please tell me If your network topology diagram is as follows:
Huawei ONT HG8245(has wifi)—AX23)))((( TL-WA854RE
(Note: — stands for wired connection, )))((( stands for wireless connection )
Can I know what the Blink device is? Please try to unplug the Blink device and check whether the network connection can be restored to normal? If so, please contact Blink support to confirm whether the device needs to be modified?
If the problem is still the same, please unplug TL-WA854RE and check the network stability. If the network is restored to normal, the problem may be with TL-WA854RE. It is recommended that you update the firmware to beta firmware.
Please try to update it to the following firmware version:
https://static.tp-link.com/upload/firmware/2024/202401/20240105/TL-WA854RE_V4_231115.zip
Please refer to the link to upgrade firmware of my range extender.

Hi @sxlange ,
Please make sure you are tagging a TP-Link Admin (my account) if you want a timely response. Unless we are tagged we do not see that new responses have been added. We do not subscribe to every thread so rely on Tagging to ensure responses.
Yes, you need to unplug the range extender and check if the router network can work stably? If so, you can update the firmware I sent you last time for the range extender.
There is currently no updated firmware version for Archer AX23.

Hello Joseph, I’m on it, busy weeks, please bear with me, wasn’t available to perform any changes.
I’ve noticed the Blink_DHCP was apparently connected to the main network - screenshot attached - and not the extender, the Blink never was connected to the main SSID, which is different than the one of the extender, but the networks share the same password, as per info found here, that is working as designed - unfortunate. By searching the internet I’ve found that Blink is apparently causing this issue, but I have not found any root cause or a solution how to fix it? Isn’t there any device log you guys could have a look at and determine what’s causing the conflict? thanks

Hello Joseph, I've just disconnected the extender with the Blink, suddenly from 15 online clients in Tether, 23 was the total clients number, and the network seems very stable so far. Was it blocking 8 devices? What the heck is going on here? How can a device can block the connection of other devices? The Blink doesn't have any network configuration options at all. I can reach out to Amazon / Blink support? But I'd think you guys should also have some in depth knowledge about this. As you're pretty much into networkin. Thaknsk in advance.

Hi @sxlange,
If the network becomes stable after you disconnect the Blink extender, then the TP-Link router is in normal condition. It is likely that the Blink extender's network is unstable. We recommend that you consult Blink's support to troubleshoot the Blink extender.

Hello, the extender the Blink device is on, is yours. It's been previously stated above, TL-WA854RE with router AX23. However, as per found suggestion, I disconnected the extender the Blink was connected to - the suggestion was actually to disconnect the sync module of Blink, which acts like a bridge for the Blink cameras, but apparently the cameras also connect to the network. However, once I disconnect the extender, the network as previously stated, acted normally; the suggestion was, to restore factory defaults of the router, once Blink is off the network, while also as per router installation process you should reboot the modem the router is connected to - in my case the ONT. I've done all the things, waited til everything connects back to network, then I plugged the extender back in. In the mean time, I noticed the Blink_DHCP was connecting to the main network SSID, I blocked these on the main network - maybe not necessary - as if they are blocked on the main network, they also shouldn't have connection on the extender's network? Anyhow, they apparently do. As per MAC address, I bloccked the 2 cameras, but they do have connection, and they occasionally pop up on the extender's network, the Blink sync module is connected nonstop. Everything works now. The reason for this issue remains unknown though, and it might reoccur, therefore would like know the root cause. Regards
