Model: Archer AXE75
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Hi, I've converter my router to a switch by following the guides. I've changed to IP address to one up from the router and disabled DHCP. I've also changed to address allocation on the main router to avoid the new switch IP. Everyting seems to work ok and I can access the internet via Ethernet and WiFi. However I can't figure out how to access the new router/switch to manage it and check everything is working as it should e.g. Onemesh. I've tried a few tricks from the internet like modifying the Local Area Connection Properties on my PC but to no avail. Any ideas ?

Hi  @Stevejclarke

Have you set the router's operation mode to Access Point mode? And then can't log in to the router's management interface?

If so, it is recommended that you try:

1. Web-based login method:

Connect to your router via Wired or Wireless.

If Wireless: Make sure your client device is connected to your router’s wireless SSID. If using the Defaults, the SSID and Password are printed on your router label.

If Wired: Connect your client to your router via Ethernet cable to one of the LAN ports (Yellow) on the back of your TP-Link router.

Launch/open a web browser and enter http://tplinkwifi.net

2. APP to log in:

Install TP-Link Tether APP and Connect to your router via Wireless then follow up the steps on APP.
