Ce sont des v2 et ils ont le dernier firmware : je confirme que les réseaux invités et iot ne sont pas sur les satelites ...

Are all three BE230s V2?

I will check with the team and verify again.

As I see it something has been done on AX55 Hardware Version: V1 Firmware Version: 1.5.10 Build 20251119 rel.50509(4555)

The Guest network will be propagated from MASTER to the SATELLITE if you go to master AP / Advanced EasyMesh - scroll down to Mesh Device Details, click Modify on the master and enable Traffic Separation. This is supposed to cause guest network settings to be synchronized to the satellite. And it does - radio wise! BUT when enabled it also separates the traffic of the host network and guest network. In my Access Point setup this has the side effect that I can connect to the WiFi guest SSID, but I do not get any IP from the external LAN DHCP server - and cannot use the guest network for anything!

I might (I say might) work in normal router mode and might also work if you use the built-in DHCP server of the AX55 - I don't know.

So to sum up: Guest Network (not IOT) does propagate (radio wise) over EasyMesh in the most recent firmware, but it is IMHO still buggy and does not work in Access Point mode - no data from Guest clients connected to the SATELLITE AP gets transmitted over the LAN/WAN net.

Please fix this - and also make it possible to enable IOT on an EasyMeshed SATELLITE AP either as one big EasyMeshed Network SSID or as individual SSIDs for each AP (today you loose almost all configuration options via WebGUI on an EasyMeshed SATELLITE AP/Router)

Traffic Separation and Extending Guest Network via EasyMesh are not the same features. Check what Traffic Separation is explained in the web page of your router:

So that is normal why you cannot get any IP from the external LAN DHCP server when connecting to the Guest Network and when Traffic Separation is enabled.

Please change the AX55 to Router mode, and I believe it should work.

  @Kevin_Z

Well - I'm not going to change back to router mode for obvious reasons. The complete network structure and IP-addresses are managed by my central firewall. I also need full access from wired LAN clients to all WiFi clients, so I guess AP mode is correct for me. Further, the Guest Network Radio channels hosted by the MASTER does work - I'm getting an IP address and can connect to the LAN and further on to WAN.

The problem is only related to clients connected to the SATELLITE AP. So the system is not consistent. You simply cannot indicate in the guidance text that the Guest Networks can be synchronized via EasyMesh and not mention that this does not work for EasyMesh in AP mode. It just does not make sense.

And btw. my guidance text for the traffic separation says:

When enabled, the Guest Network settings of the main router can be synchronized with those of satellite devices.
It can also separate the traffic of the host network and guest network, ensuring the security of your home network.

I Guess the last line is only possible in router mode, but it should still create a unified meshed network SSID with identical functionallity no matter which AP a client connects to -
I mean that is the whole point of EasyMesh.

So I still think this needs to be fixed together with the abillity to turn on IOT network SSIDs either individually for each EasyMeshed AP or centrally if IOT is EasyMeshed.

What is the current firmware version on your three BE230 V2 units?

BTW, please verify the exact model number of the BE230 by checking the sticker, where you'll find a 'Model Number' or 'Model No'.

@zEnterHacker You've done a good job.yesYou may find out what I haven't been aware of. Thank you.

So in your testing, the client got internet access when connected to the Master AX55's Guest network, but it lost internet access when switching to the satellite's Guest network. Could you please show me how you observed that? Is there an easy way to check which guest network you're connected to?

I'll discuss this behavior with the development and engineering team and report it for further investigation. I will let you know if they need more details from you. Thanks again.

Re:Extend Guest and IoT wifi to Easymesh nodes-Solution

Hello all,

As far as I can confirm, the following models/versions have already received firmware updates to support extending the Guest/IoT Network via EasyMesh.

I'll provide a list for your reference to help with model selection, purchasing, and correctly configuring your Guest/IoT Network setups.

If you notice that I've missed any models, or if you find that a certain model does not, in fact, support this feature yet, please feel free to tag me for a double check.

Model & Hardware

Original Firmware Version

Archer GE550_V1.0/V1.6 1.3.0 Build 20260331 (Official firmware)
Archer BE800_V1.0/V1.6/V1.20/V1.26 1.4.1 Build 20260401 (Official firmware)
Archer BE600_V1.0/V1.6 1.1.1 Build 20260113 (Official firmware)
Archer BE9700_V1.0/V1.6 1.1.1 Build 20260113 (Official firmware)
Archer BE550_V2 1.3.1 Build 20260403 (Official firmware)

*Original Firmware Version means starting from this specific version, the router supports the mentioned feature.

This feature will be added to more models/hardware through firmware updates. To verify if your device/hardware supports it, please monitor for new firmware releases. All key additions are documented in the firmware release notes.

Take Archer BE550 V2 for example:

enlightenedTips: If you find no recent firmware for your model/hardware via Online Upgrade or on the official website, or if the latest available update’s release notes do not mention this feature, it likely indicates the feature is not yet supported. You are welcome to contact our support team for a final confirmation, especially if you suspect the online information may not be fully up to date. Contact Technical Support

If you require your model/hardware to support a new feature, make sure you leave your comment with the correct modem number and hardware version, then we can help check whether or when it might be supported.

Thank you all for your continued support as always.

Hello @Stef-Atl

Please don't post the SN or MAC address or any other personal information on our public forum. We recommend you modify the post to delete the SN.

I will check with the team and let you know whether BE3600 V2 1.1.7 Build 20260316 rel.38939(4555) supports it.
