Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.11 Build 20240807 rel.25691

I’ve been experiencing a frustrating issue with my PC's Wi-Fi connection. It keeps dropping intermittently, making it difficult to maintain a stable connection to the router. This problem seems isolated to my PC, as other devices in the same location connect perfectly fine and return excellent results when running network tests.

My PC is running Linux Mint, and I’ve even added range extender aerials to improve connectivity. Despite this, the signal strength never goes above 67%, which seems unusual given that I can easily detect my neighbor’s Wi-Fi SSID from the same spot. This is Wifi 6 btw.

I’d appreciate any advice or troubleshooting steps you might suggest to resolve this issue.

I at the point where I will return the device as its becoming infuriating....

I believe I have resolved my own issue I changed the Security from WPA-PSK + WPA-PSK to WPA3-Personal + WPA2-PSK this has seemed to solidfy the connection.
God knows why it defaulted to this or why it was an issue, since my adpater supports wpa2 :/

@DanielB109

Could you please show me the Security Type on the BE550 when the Linux Mint PC keeps disconnecting from the wireless network? Was it WPA2-PSK[AES]+WPA-PSK[TKIP]?

What is the brand and model of the wireless adapter on this Linx Mint PC? Please ensure you're installing the latest driver for it on the system.

  @Kevin_Z Im using a MSI X670e MB with built in Wifi. On linux you dont install the drivers since they are built into the kernel. Yes my secuirty was set to that by default.
