I've recently bought an XGZ030 XGSPON modem, for love nor money I can't get it to work and pass a wan ip to a router.

The lights show it's registering with the OLT, and the gui says the light level is good but it never passes any traffic.

I've managed to find a wan menu that's hidden and gives the option for bridge mode and cloning the MAC address of my providers ont but when I enter the settings and save them it just clears the settings and saves nothing.

The latest firmware is a year old and wondered if anyone had any suggestions.

I’ve tried my isp who say the bridge mode and mac cloning and tagging the vlan from the router and not the modem would work. Is there anyway to do this as I can find a hidden wan menu but it doesn’t save any settings.

Hi, welcome to our community.

As XGZ030 is a customized model for some ISPs only, it is a pity that we can know much less than common modem routers.

It is suggested to contact your ISP or local technical support for confirmation.

Hi, I am afraid that I have no better suggestions. You may contact local technical support for some help.
