Unit was working fine but when I went into Tether app, it said there was new firmware so I updated it. status reached 100% and and a timer appear for about 2 minutes. Unit never came back online and green power light is the only one that lights up. Tried factory reset but noting happens. Not broadcasting any SSIDs. Looks like the firmware update bricked the unit even though the Tether app told me to update. This unit is 3 years old and out of warranty.
Can anything be done to revive the unit?
