DoH & Dot on X50 broken with NextDNS
DoH & Dot on X50 broken with NextDNS

From NextDNS (regarding DoH & Dot), you get the folowing options:
DOH:
https://dns.nextdns.io/2XXXX2
When I try to enter that in my Deco X50, it says invalid format. It seems it only likes the 'dns.nextdns.io' part. The '/2XXXX2' is needed to select the correct profile within NextDNS.
DOT:
2XXXX2.dns.nextdns.io
When I enter that, it is accepted, but the answers are not from the correct profile. It looks like the '2XXXX2.' part is ignored and 'dns.nextdns.io' is used. Again, that's not the correct profile within NextDNS.

DoT confirmed works even with my device prefix: device--name-hash.dns.nextdns.io
DoH still doesn't work, it doesn't accept my device suffix:
https://dns.nextdns.io/profile_hash/device%20name
It says invalid format, please loosen the restriction further and we'll be golden!💪

Hi, thanks for the message.
Can I have the firmware version of your Deco X50-5G_V1?
I think the DOH/DOT feature is the same on Deco X50_V1 and Deco X50-5G. They both support DOT servers with a customized prefix, but not DOH servers with a customized suffix.
Do you still get an error "invalid format" when using the "cXXXX92.dns.controld.com"?
Wait for your reply.
Best regards.

hi am using the 1.3.0 build 20250724 rel 41491
Am using the DoT not DoH...
It has the same problem like x50 before that it allows us to save customised prefix but it's really not reflected on controld or nextdns that it has prefix.
The latest x50 firmware has fixed this but not on the x50-5g devices
