Oh boy, did I just purchase NX200 only to find out it does not support the bridge mode 🥲. One would think such perfectly capable 5G modem with external antennas would support this. My bad for not checking beforehand.

That's a deal breaker feature and heavy +1 from me. I'm returning mine and looking for something else.

bump bridge mode, should be shipped by default imo. NX-series are the best LTE/5G routers

Another Bridge Mode voter here too.

Shame I missed the returns window by a couple of days.

  @hansol187 I might be wrong but after the firmware update I found a bridge mode option in Network > Internet > Internet Setup, then click Modify and Internet Connection Type dropdown menu. Hence not tested it yet.. will try over the next weekend..

  @ROM_ So there is a bridge mode.

On the advanced tab, Go to Network>Internet>and go to Internet set up and click +

Select MBB as the default gateway, and select "Bridge" as the internet connection type. Click OK.

The 3rd Party Router must eb connected to LAN Port 3 (WAN Port).

Now this won't actually work initially. Once the above is saved, you then need to delete this connection.

As crazy as this sounds, once you delete this bridge connection the bridge mode will immediately function.

Are you sure this works repeatedly? I've tested the method you described above with no luck.

I only get a self-assigned IP-adress trying the above, I even reset my nx200 to factory settings and applied your settings. Doesn't work.

If it does work, does it survive a reboot?

  @Ritte

Hi,
When the Archer NX200 is in EWAN mode (an internet cable is connected to the NX200's WAN/LAN port), you can go to the router's web UI > Advanced > Network > Internet page to set bridge mode when needed. However, if the router is connected to the internet through a SIM card, it does not support the bridge mode.

In your situation, please describe your usage scenario and the reason you want to set up bridge mode on the NX200. I'll record the information and forward it to the relevant team for evaluation.

Best Regards

  @Solla-topee

I think most people here are using the NX200 as a 5G internet gateway rather than as their primary router. The NX200 provides the WAN connection via the SIM card, while a more powerful router handles routing, firewall policies, Wi-Fi, VPNs, and the rest of the network infrastructure.

Because of this setup, many of us would like the option to enable bridge mode. This would allow the downstream router to receive the WAN IP directly, avoid double NAT, and take full control of network management. In many deployments, the NX200 isn't being used as the main router at all—it's simply acting as the device that connects the network to the mobile carrier.
