Model: Tapo D230S1
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.15

Hello,

Just got a smart doorbell D230 connected to Tapo Hub 200.

- Current firmware 1.1.15

- HW version : 1.2

After i added it to Tapo app, I'm prompt to update to firmware V 1.1.19 Build 20240111 rel.67020.

But the update hangs at Installing and wont finish.

I have tried :

- Change from Cable to Wifi,

- Change Wifi network and did wofi sharing from 2 different mobiles connected to different mobile providers,

- reset the doorbell without success.

- launch update from different devices ( Android and ios)

Any clues?

Device is unusable as long as it's not up to date since the app won't let le control it until i do the udpate.

Thank you

  @MikeTango

Restart both H200 hub and the D230 doorbell. Remove the microSD card on the hub if any.

Please check if you can ring the hub remotely when your phone uses cellular data. If not, we need to resolve the remote control failure issue on the hub first, as the firmware update requires the device to connect to the cloud server. Check the suggestions here in Case 2. Cannot use the Tapo app to control my smart devices
