Hi, I would like to request for the USB Offline Download to be added so that that I can download files to my router-attached drive without having my PC powered on.

 

This feature seems to exist in the older TP-link routers but not the newer ones. (Example: https://www.tp-link.com/us/user-guides/Archer-C7/usb-settings-us-4.0#ug-sub-title-2)

 

Since this has been implemented before, it should be possible to add it to the existing WiFi 7  routers.

Hello, thank you for posting on the TP-Link community, and we certainly appreciate all your feedback and feature request here.

After confirmation, there is no plan to support the USB Offline Download feature at this time. 

As we know, most TP-Link models do not support this old feature, either.

We are delighted to announce the release of Archer BE805_V1.0 & V1.20_1.2.4_Build 20250722 (Updated version of Pre-release Firmware) ! 

This update has an additional change: Added VPN kill switch feature.


Please click Archer BE805 Pre-release Software Enhances the Overall System Stability. to install the firmware. We encourage you to try this firmware and take advantage of the new features.
