Rv20 plus max updating but has been stuck at 50% updating for 2 days. Can't reset. Any idea on what to do to get it working again please

For the firmware update stuck issue on the Tapo RV20 Max, here is a suggestion that might help: 

  • Long-press the power button for 5s to turn off the robot vacuum.
  • Then long-press power button again for 3s.
  • Try to do the firmware update again after the robot vacuum restarts.

How did you reset the vacuum? Check here to make sure everything is done correctly. How to reset Tapo Robot Vacuum

 

Which version is your device updating to? Do you remember what is the current firmware version?

Try to restart the vacuum, then perform the update again.

1. Long-press the power button for 5 seconds to turn off the device.

2. Long-press the power button for 3 seconds to turn on the device.

I have the same issue! Did you land on any fix? Cannot soft reset or turn off due to it being stuck in update at 62% from version 1.3.0 Build 250909 Rel.135514, RV30 Max Plus.
