I have the same issue! Did you land on any fix? Cannot soft reset or turn off due to it being stuck in update at 62% from version 1.3.0 Build 250909 Rel.135514, RV30 Max Plus.

  @jonasced  Have you tried the recommended suggestion in this thread? It should also work for the RV30 Max Plus.

  @Wayne-TP The vacuum says "Firmware updating, please wait" when I attempt to turn it off, regardless if I hold the power button 3 or 5 or more seconds. Is there anything else I can do? I cannot find a way to interrupt it in the app.

 

Also tried soft/Factory reset https://www.tp-link.com/nordic/support/faq/3623/, same thing.

 

The app is now not saying that the update is in progress, but the vacuum still says that it is firmware updating when I press the button.

  @jonasced  Move the vacuum off its charging dock and leave it powered on until the battery completely drains (this may take half a day or longer). Once depleted, reconnect it to the dock for recharge. 

 

Once the vacuum turns on, you can try to update the firmware again.
