Model: Archer BE550
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: v1.1.1 Build 20241230

Hello everyone,

Does anyone tried 6GHz SSID available to use in satelite node in BE550x2 ethernet backhaul setup ?

I'm now in BE550 + AX73 ethernet backhaul setup. Of course currently only 2.4 and 5ghz SSIDs are usable in satelite node. Wondering once if I buy another BE550 as replacement, 6GHz SSID will be simply become usable in satelite or not.

Thanks,

Hi@tomi8473a,

Most 6G-Supported WiFi 7 Routers also support extending 6G network. However, MLO/IoT/Guest Wi-Fi can't be extended in an EasyMesh network.

For Archer BE550, if you update its firmware to 1.1.1 Build 20241230, you can enjoy more new features:
Archer BE550 New Firmware Added Support for EasyMesh in AP Mode, DoH&DoT, ECO Mode, and More

  @Joseph-TP

Thank you. Understood 6GHz should usable in satelite, but MLO/IoT/Guest are not. I will try it.

Thank you !
