Why do two Deco E4R units on the same network have different firmware versions ? one has 1.1.1 build 20240104 rel 55043 while the other has 1.6.1 build 20231227 rel53644 .In the Deco update section ,it shows "The systems up to date" .As a result of this issue the second unit does not display the "connection preference " option

It is very likely your Deco E4 units are on different hardware versions.
For V1/V2, if you need them to support Connection Preference, please install the firmware here:
