Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.3 Build 20240628 rel.37017(4555)

The error has been occurring in the router for a few months, but perhaps this error occurred with the latest update.
I've noticed that some Web Apps don't load when connected via WiFi. Also, a specific website, the Hungarian Meteorological Service website ( https://met.hu/ ), does not load at all when connected only through the router. The website is not accessible via cable or phone with a WiFi connection.

  • I tried changing the DNS (8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4 after 1.1.1.1/1.0.0.1) on both the LAN and WAN networks to multiple available addresses and it didn't change the problem.
  • I tried factory resetting the router, but it didn't fix it.

If I connect directly to the modem via cable, I don't have this problem. I can say that it's not my service provider that's blocking the website.

How can this problem be solved?

What other solution is there that a factory reset doesn't solve?

Hi  @AndrasG,

If you can access the https://met.hu/ when the PC is connected to modem via Ethernet cable, please try to do Mac clone for Archer AX55. If it doesn't work, please disable IPv6, change MTU value to others like 1472.

How to adjust the MTU settings in your TP-Link Router:
1) Connect your PC or phone to the router's network;
2) visit "http://tplinkwifi.net" to log into your router via URL;
3) Go to Advanced > Network > Internet, click the Advanced button, and see the MTU settings. You edit the Value of the MTU.
