Model: Deco XE75
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.4.3

Hi!

Running Deco X75 (unknown HW-version) with 1.4.3.

I would like to use a pi-hole DNS running on a Raspberry Pi 2. The RP is connected to LAN, no WiFi.

I point DHCP-clients to use my DNS in Deco.

It works, but not for guest WiFI, as they cannot reach the DNS IP on the LAN.

Can I:

- allow access to ip.ip.ip.ip/53 from the guest WiFi?

or

- set DNS per network, so the guest WiFi can use public DNS?

  @jorgebjo

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.

I'm afraid Deco doesn't support settings individual DNS/DHCP settings for Guest Networks.

Under wireless router mode, there is no extra configuration to set an allow-access profile in the Guest network to a certain LAN device either.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Best regards.

  @David-TP

Thank you for the reply.

Is there a way for me to give this as a feedback / request? I belive my scenario is not unique.

Regards, Jørgen

Hi, Thanks for the quick reply. It has been escalated to our senior engineers for review. But it is still under evaluation and no conclusion/timeline has been reached at the moment. Best regards.
