Model: Archer AX55 Pro
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.1 Build 20240426 rel.31941(4555)

Hi!

Having trouble with my 5G wifi connection. Motorola edge 40 keeps intermittently dropping connection to 5G network (2,4ghz and wired connections works perfectly fine).

Everything is default settings apart from SSID and password...

Any ideas of what i can do to fix 5G connection?

Hi@Mumse,

Please try the following suggestions:
    1) Make sure the Router is properly placed, it should be put in open area instead of inside a cabinet or shelf.
    2) Login to the web management interface of the Router, go to Advanced > Wireless > Wireless Settings, change the wireless channel into another one.
    3) For 5G wireless client devices, adjust 5GHz channel width into 80MHz or 40MHz to avoid interference.

In addition, can other 5G client access WiFi normally?
