Following a firmware upgrade to v141008 last week, I can no longer access the router over the internet. I have checked the configuration and the router has my correct IP address in the Manage section, and management is enabled on port 8000 remotely.

When I try to access the router, I get the login page. After entering the correct username and password, I get "403 Forbidden" in a box and can't get any further.

Is this a new firmware bug, or is there another new setting needed to make remote management work again?

You may downgrade the old firmware to test if it works OK again.

Well I know it works OK with the old firmware, as it worked fine before the upgrade.

I'm just wondering if the new firmware has added a setting I need to deal with to make remote management work again, or if there is a bug with the new firmware which has caused this.

This is reproducible as I have upgraded another one of these routers and get the same 403 Forbidden box after logging in with that one too.

Yes, I have raised it with support and am in dialogue with them at the moment.
I'll post a summary here when it has progressed.
