Hello

I have 4 Deco BE25 that i want to mount in the ceiling.

I going to mount them in the ceiling upside down.

There is any problem with the ventilation of the device if we mount them in this position?

Hi, welcome to the community.

Deco BE25 is designed for horizontal placement, with its internal antennas optimized for this orientation.

Compared with Ceiling mounting, wall mounting might be more recommended for optimal performance.

Best regards.

Hi, I have read your answer and I have a pair of BE3600 which is the same design as the BE25. I also want to mount on the ceiling, but I don't really understand your answer. Instead of ceiling mounting you say it would be better on the wall. And here I am a bit confused - both units are intended for horizontal placement for optimal performance - not horizontal.
So why do you answer wall mounting = horizontal ???

My question: if the units are mounted upside down - will it affect their ability to get rid of the heat they generate?

Best regards

Hi, thanks for your time and patience.

The reason why ceiling mounting is not suggested is that Long-term inverted placement may lead to parts shifting and ultimately reduce their lifespan.

Deco BE25 doesn't support mounting, and Tabletop is always the first choice.

Wall mounting may be a compromise option if users have to mount the Deco.  And there are some DIY mounting brackets on Amazon, such as:

Thank you very much.

Best regards.
