Model: Archer AX73
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: Firmware Version: 1.1.1 Build 20241031 rel.70279(4555)

My Archer AX73 always crashes around nice round times (e.g 14:00, 17:15, 18:00, 23:00) and loses connection all WiFi clients. I disabled automatic reboots, increased the DHCP lease time, disabled UPNP but this didn't change anything. I'm not quite sure when this started but maybe around 2 weeks ago. There doesn't seem to be an update available. I'm pretty sure that the router is the issue because my logs always look like this (or do these logs point to the issue being at a different device, most likely my DLS modem before the router?)

This happens probably ~3 times a day. My internet set up is pretty simple, with only around 7 devices connected via WiFi and my NAS connected via Ethernet. I'm thankful for any help. If any additional information is required let me know.

Hi@whiheroi,

Thank you for reporting your issue to our community.

At the time when Wi-Fi crashes (such as 14:00), please try to test if the NAS connection is working properly at this time?

If only the wireless network is disconnected, please try the following suggestions:

1. Change the wireless channel: try to fix the 2.4GHz/5GHz channel to 1, 6, 11 (avoid congestion) and eliminate interference from neighboring WiFi (need to be verified with WiFi analysis tools).

2. Check the modem, is the router overheated? You can try to replace it with a power adapter of the same specification to eliminate the restart caused by unstable power supply.

3. Observe whether there are high-power electrical appliances (such as microwave ovens, air conditioners) started during the crash period, which may interfere with the 2.4GHz frequency band.

4. Temporarily bypass the router and connect the computer directly to the DSL Modem to test the network stability during the crash period.

If the direct connection to the Modem is still disconnected, → confirm that it is a problem with the Modem or ISP.

If the direct connection to the Modem is normal → confirm that it is a problem with the router.

5. Borrow a router for replacement and test to observe whether the scheduled disconnection still occurs?
