Hi,

I've bought an EX511 to make a mesh net with 2 satellites dlink COVR. I've been not able to do that and I have no more options to try

I've watched some videos and they show an option "other brands" in the mesh sector. This option is not present in ex511.

I've seen as well that both ex511 and covr 1102 are compatible with easymesh patterns.

Has anyone made this setup before?

Thanks in advance for answers.

Hi@Rodrm,

Thank you for reporting your issue to community.

As far as I know, D-Link's COVR series Mesh routers mainly use their own Mesh technology, rather than the Wi-Fi Alliance's EasyMesh standard. So I'm afraid it won't be possible to form an EasyMesh network with the EX511.

EX511 is a customized device specifically designed for local Service Providers. Its software is tailored to meet the unique requirements of these providers, ensuring alignment with their specific needs.
We recommend contacting the technical support of your Service Provider who supplied the device, as they are best suited to provide the necessary assistance for your device.
