TL-WDR3600 wifi connection problems
Region : UnitedKingdom
Model : TL-WDR3600
Hardware Version : V1
Firmware Version : Latest (3.14.1)
ISP : Plusnet
I have a TL-WDR3600 whic was previously used with BT Infinity but is now on Plusnet fibre. The issue I have in losing connection between devices and the router. The router still appears live but devices cannot connect to it. I initially had the problem with an older desktop pc using a netgear wifi dongle. The connection would stop in Windows 7 and show as limited connectivity. If you tried to reset the connection it would fail to connect despite the router showing in the available connections. The only was to reconnect was to unplug the dongle and reinsert it. I put this down to a problem with the dongle however since buying a new laptop and upgrading my phone I have the same issue with both devices. The only was to reconnect when the connection fails is to put the device into 'airplane mode' and then out again. The connection is then re-established.
Are there router settingswhich could be causing this to happen. The devices and ISP have changed, the only constant is the TL-WDR3600 router. Any help would be appreciated.
