  @Omochao

Hi, Thanks for the fast reply.

Can you also help me submit the Deco APP log:

How to submit Deco APP log

By the way, how did you find out Deco can only use 160MHz now?

If you select 80/160MHz on the Deco APP>WiFi Settings>2.4GHz & 5Ghz Network>Advanced, would there be any error message

Best regards.

  @David-TP

Yes, I did  submit the log to TP link customer support.

I'm using an app on android to check on the network status, when easy-mesh feature is turned on for the deco to detect my third party easymesh router, the easymesh router will downgrade itself to 40mhz/80mhz, but deco still remains on 160mhz.

Yes I did even try to alternate between 80mhz/160mhz, but the easy mesh router still remains the same, and the channel is not on the same as deco even after clicking network optimization.

  @David-TP  please add doh support  & manual channels  the ai only picks channel 36 on 5 ghz   . when there over 30 routers close by there lots of interfere  would allow for better connections more speed on the network

  @David-TP

Hello David! I have a problem with the 1.6.7 firmware, that every time the network restarts, I have to unplug the external X50-Outdoor from the power supply, because it cannot connect to the network. Until I do it, it blinks red. Otherwise, it is a good firmware and much more stable than the previous one, even if it crashes and restarts every few days. I can live with that. I went back to 1.6.4 because it's inconvenient to turn the X50-Outdoor on and off. Please pay attention to this problem. 😊

I forgot to write that I have an X50-5G, four X50s and one X50 outdoor.

  @David-TP Hi David, I am on 1.5.5 Deco X50 v1 (EU). As you know, I suffer from the router being uncontrollable due to logging into the deco app causes the deco to crash.

When 1.6.7 becomes available to the public : HOW am I suppose to install 1.6.7 when the deco app crashes after a couple of minutes and firmware install also crashes and bricks deco?

  @JanRekenaar

Hi, the firmware can be manually installed via the web interface:

How to Update the Firmware of Deco - Method 2 via web UI

And a new Deco APP version- 3.9.50 was released a week ago. Have you installed the latest Deco APP version?

Best regards.

  @David-TP

Hi!

New here.

Have identical experience and issue to @FX3 with EasyMesh on ZTE MC888a Ultra + Deco X50

Any news on this?

This combo is actually very popular by Operators in German\Austria markets  (though conveniently they fail to mention those Mesh issues), so probably not only 2 of us would be happy to have some updates.

P.S. After having spent last 8 hours trying to bebug this to me it looks like X50 just expects Ethernet connection and doesn't even try to connect to Router via WiFi (after initial connectivity to Router for EasyMesh setup).

  @SirDremor

Hi, Thanks for the feedback.

Did you set Deco as the EasyMesh controller or agent?

Could you please refer to this link to help me submit the Deco APP log:

How to submit Deco APP log

(It would be highly appreciated if you could attach some screenshots of the error message during the EasyMesh configuration.)

Wait for your reply.

Best regards.
