Hi, thank you very much for the update.
They did look quite similar.
I saw the case had been escalated to the senior engineer for further assistance. Hope the engineer can help us find a solution as soon as possible.
Best regards.

Hi, is the satellite Deco X50 wirelessly connected to the main Deco?
When you run the speedtest on the smartphones, are they connected to the 5GHz WiFi of the main Deco?
How much of the total internet bandwidth?
(It would be highly appreciated if you could start a new thread here with some screenshots of the speed tests.)
You see, Deco X50 is basically the most updated model and has introduced many new features, which will increase the CPU/memory usage. I think it is reasonable to have a little higher CPU load.
Thank you very much.
Best regards.

Hi, thanks for the notification.
I was told that only the US account ID doesn't have EasyMesh on the Deco APP. For other regions' account IDs, I think it should be fine.
Best regards.

@X50problem massive problem with 1.6.7 even after disabling EasyMesh. I had two x50, but removed the satellite and only main unit left, but problem persisted. Wifi drop all the time. Wifi speed degradations. Some web pages can not be reached, even on wired. Now downgraded to 1.6.1 and its better, allthou wifi still loos3s internet at times, but a lot less often.
How hard is it to create a wifi router that is stable? Almost impossible, it seems. I guess the future is 4g/5g, its actually much more stable than any wifi I have ever used. Thanks.

Hi, welcome to the community.
Have you also configured DOH/DOT? if yes, it is suggested to temporarily disable this feature to see whether it helped.
Have you ever noticed Deco turned red during the disconnection?
If there is an ISP router in front of the Deco X50, it is also suggested to set the Deco into Access Point mode:
How to set up Deco to work in Access Point mode
And if you'd like to spend a little more time and update to 1.6.7, I can forward your case to the senior engineer for further assistance.
Wait for your reply.
Best regards.

@David-TP DOH/DOT disabled. And it was always green and says everything ok. I tried the latest 1.7.0 as well. But the wifi disconnects persisted. Specially bad with Google TV (I have several). Even tried disable beamforming. But I gave up and they are now binned. I think it may be a hardware problem because they were working fine in the beginning. But I have a recollection that Qualcom/Atheros was notoriously bad at wifi becoming worse over time, and possibly all wifi chips they make (still) are junk. So this time I went with a Broadcom powered router, hoping it will be better. Thanks.

@osexpert New router, same problem.... Seems google tv's and the likes are whats dropping the most. I tried the old Zyxcel from my isp, actually its stable, but slow. I have ordered usb-c to ethernet adapters for the google tv's. Annoying.
