None of the 4 portlights working

I am hoping someone can help me.
I have TP LINK TD W8980 dual band modem router,the problem is it works fine on both the 2.4 and 5 gig wireless bands,but none of the 4 port lights come on.
so I can not use any of the Ethernet ports.
I need to use these ports so I am stuck with only the wireless working.
I would appreciate it if anyone else has had this problem
