With regard to your comment (that you'd explained it already), I wanted to check as your first reply said "You can test with the following setup:

  • Keep Skyhub SR203 as the main Deco but disable its WiFi network" so I thought it odd saying set to the 5GHz band if it was disabled. It would appear, from your latest message, that you were talking about a setting in the Deco app, rather than on my Sky hub.

 

Assuming that is the case, I'll have a look and try to set it up.

On your TP-Link Deco X50, open the Deco app, tap the Home icon in the bottom left, select More (the three dots or grid icon), and then tap on Wi-Fi to find the option to enable or disable the bands independently. You will see a toggle for each band, and you can disable the 5 GHz band temporarily to force a device that only supports 2.4 GHz to connect to it.
