I am having problems connecting my iMac to my router wirelessly. It works fine when plugged in using ethernet cable. The wireless connection used to work but it for some reason it has stopped. Maybe it has happened since updating to Yosemite?
I have tried deleting the wireless profile and reconnecting but it still doesn't work. It does not come up with an address for the router on the TCP/IP menu.
I have rebooted the router and it works fine with a windows laptop and phones/tablet devices. It only seems to have an issue with the mac!
Would really appreciate some help on this if anybody has any ideas!

Many thanks

Try to disable Wi-Fi security and change the SSID. If MAC connects, try to secure the network again to test.
If it doesn't, you may reset the router to factory defaults and reconfigure it.
