can I use Deco BE25 as main Deco and then connect with Deco X60 for the mesh wifi

Hello all,
I recently switched to KPN with the 4Gbit/s fiber internet.
i used 3 Deco X60 for the mesh wifi at home. But since the X60 has only 1Gbit/s port. I cannot release more internet speed.
So i am think if I can use 1 Deco BE25 as main Deco connected with my modern with 2.5Gbit/s port to rebuild the mesh wifi. will this release more internet speed? ( or use 3 BE25 replace all the Deco)
i dont know if i read this photo right.
if the input (from modern to main Deco) is limited to 1Gbit/s. How can I to reach internet speed over it?
But with Deco BE25, i can connect with 2.5 Gbps to my modern ( KPN V14, it supported 2.5 Gbps), will this already give my internet another speed starting level?
this is my modern

@LyonHuang Yes you can use Deco BE25 as Main Deco to get 2.5 Gbps speed and also you can use all your Deco X60 as Satellite Deco Units to create mesh network but some features will disappaear from Deco App which are implemented in Deco BE25 but not in Deco X60

Hi, thanks for your reply.
just got this in my mind, will 3 Deco BE25 give me better wifi speed than 3 Deco X60?
if my KPN modern remain at Max 4 Gbt/s speed.
The wireless specifications for Deco X60 and Deco BE25 are:
Deco X60 | 2.4 GHz:40MHz/ax 5 GHz: 160MHz/ax |
2 X 5GHz Antennas + 2 x Dual-band Antennas |
2.4GHz:574mbps(287*2) 5 GHz:4804mbps(1201*4) |
Deco BE25 | 2.4 GHz: 40MHz/be 5 GHz: 160MHz/be |
2 X 5GHz Antennas + 2 x 2.4GHz Antennas |
2.4GHz:688mbps(344*2) 5 GHz:2882mbps(1441*2) |
I dont have much devices really need Wifi 7, but i just want a faster internet speed.
how should i read the difference 5 GHz:4804mbps(1201*4) for X60 and 5 GHz:2882mbps(1441*2)
is that means when more devices conntected 5 GHz signal, X60 give faster speed?

@LyonHuang No Deco BE25 will give you more speed because BE25 has WiFi 7 which is faster than Deco X60 WiFi 6

There are two versions of Deco BE25.
Deco BE25(EU) is BE3600(802.11be):160MHz over 5Ghz+2*2 MU-MIMO
Deco BE25(US) is Deco BE5000(802.11be):240MHz over 5GHz+2*2 MU-MIMO
If you have the BE25(EU) version, its maximum wireless link speed isn't as fast as Deco X60(160MHz+4*4 MU-MIMO):5 GHz 4804 Mbps (802.11ax)
Thank you very much.
Best regards.

I think only BE25( BE3600 version) is available in the European market.
Forgive me for this stupid question:
the main Deco X60 now is connected with my KPN modern with Gigabit Port, how it can reach to higher speed like below?
My point of view is , input speed is 1Gbps and then output from X60 should not over this speed, right?
same question for BE25,
if it connected with modern with 2.5 Gbps port, it should give faster speed theoretically, right?
what if BE25 is connected to modern with Gigabit Port? it will give slower speed than X60, right?
in other words, if my modern has only available Gigabit Port, then X60 is a better option.
But since my fiber speed is 4 Gbps and the modern has the 2.5 Gbps port, BE25 (BE3600) is better than X60 ,right? then I not wasting my bandwidth for the internet?
thanks for your answer,

@LyonHuang Go for Deco BE85 which has 2 ports of 10 Gbps and 2 ports of 2.5 Gbps

Hi, Deco BE25 can ask and receive more internet bandwidth from the ISP modems. It is better than Deco X60 in this respect.
Based on your attached picture for Deco X60, when it comes to Deco BE25, it would be
2 for 2.4GHz: 344Mbps
2 for 5 GHz: 2881Mbps
For Deco BE85(we will skip 6GHz for now)
4 for 2.4GHz: 344Mbps
4 for 5 GHz: 2881Mbps
Which would decide he wireless Mesh backhaul speed between Decos:
(The 2.4 GHz is usually slow and quite occupied, and didn't help much on the backhaul connection. We might mainly focus on the 5 GHz bands.
When asking for presale suggestions, we might mention the possible limitations of mixing different models to help users make decisions.
The Backhaul speed mainly matters for testing the maximum network performance. For example, for 4K video streaming/VR gaming, the network latency might be: Deco BE25>Deco X60>Deco BE85. For standard network activities(web surfing/chatting, etc.) , the 2402 Mbps of 5 GHz WiFi Backhaul speed would be enough, and you might not notice a huge difference.
In this way, Deco BE25 did help improve overall network performance. Deco BE85 is just an even better choice. However, users must also consider price when making their final decision.
Thank you very much.
Best regards.
