Tp-link modem not loading data to iSolarCloud app, need to separate 2.4GHz from 5GHz signal

TP-Link model no VX420-G2v has 2.4GHz and 5Ghz signals for WiFi. I've been told iSolarCloud and my solar system will only accept 2.4GHz signal to feed date. ISolarCloud app says it's offline . Inverter is sungrow and system is producing.
how can I separate the 2.4GHz signal so solar will read?
I'm with Dodo for internet now, they said they cannot help. So grow solar cloud people said they can't help. Verified solar system is working fine.
any help much appreciated.
thanks in advance

Try logging into the TP-Link router settings via browser (usually 192.168.1.1) and look under Wireless settings—you can give the 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks different names (SSIDs) so you can connect the inverter to the right one xtreme lash adhesive. I had a similar issue with a smart plug and this worked.
