USB Printer Controller - Error

I have installed the USB Printer Controller software and successfully set up my Samsung ML-2010 printer. It shows as being "ready" in control panel.
When I attempt to print a document, I get a pop-up message from the USB Printer Controller program saying, "printing" followed by the file name of the document, then it does nothing! When I check printer status, it says "Error-Printing".
Any idea what I need to do?
