I'm trying to port forward but I'm getting an error message that says "Ip address and router local Ip are not in the same subnet" Can anyone help ?

What's the IP address of the device which you are trying to open port for?
Ensure its IP address is assigned by TD-W8968. If you didn't change IP address of W8968, it should be 192.168.1.*.

The ip address for the router is 192.168.1.1 (for correction im using TD- W8951) Can you help

What's the IP address of the device which you are trying to open port for? Can you have a check on the device itself?
You have to ensure its IP address is 192.168.1.* which is in the same subnet as the router.

This is the ip for my device 197.221.241.58 , how do I change it to the same subnet as my router

What kinds of device? If you don't know how to do it, you'd better contact that device's technical support...
