Deco X50-5G no static routes?
Hello!
I've received a X50-5G recently. Unfortunatly i've checked the hardware version too late and just found out it is v1. But nevertheless, issue might be the same with v1.2 and v2.
Is there no support for static routes? I have a VPN running and need them.
Thanks

Hi, did you host a VPN server behind Deco X50-5G?
Most of the mobile service providers use CG-NAT services and assign a reserved IPV4 internet address. Do you want to set " Static Routes" for this matter?
And the 1.2.0 beta here has added " Static Routes"
Deco X50-5G_V1_1.2.0 with IoT and CPU Optimization
Thank you very much.
Best regards.

Thanks! I'm using Tailscale which is already setup and running. I had problems with CG-NAT in the past but with Tailscale that is no problem, fortunatly.
Thanks for the 1.2.0 Beta hint, haven't seen that. Will give it a try even though the responses in the beta-thread don't all read very well.

@David-TP Is there another firmware i've missed with the static routes available?

Hi, no, I'm afraid there hasn't been a new firmware yet
I thought 1.2.0_Beta did, but apparently, it seems only under wireless router mode instead of 5G router mode.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Best regards.

I mean, I do understand that the limitation is more on the APP side than due to router config.

Hi, thank you very much for the feedback.
I'm afraid there hasn't been a solution to allow Static Routing in 4G/5G router mode. It is more related to the Deco software, instead of the APP.
Given the repeated requests for this feature, would it be possible for you to send an email to support.forum@tp-link.com to explain in detail what you want to achieve via "Static Routing"? Perhaps, by providing concrete evidence of the necessity of this feature, we can request the senior engineer to prioritize obtaining a beta firmware version.

Thanks a lot.
Best regards.
