I have a TD-W8961N, the wifi signals keeps on dropping and you looose connection.

Do you have latest firmware? Sometimes router has problem with power supply, so you can check it.

Wired connection to W8961N works OK?
How many wireless clients are connected at the same time?
Try different channels and channel widht 20MHz.
Disable UPnP.

I already updated the firmware to the latest and the issue is still there, and there is no problem with the power supply.
