Hi

I bought the BE3600 model some days ago with two goals:

• Block internet access to my kid's devices during the bedtime. It includes smartphone, tablets, computers and playstation. I wake up very soon so I go to be before they do and I want their internet access is blocked automatically
• Block internet access during offtime periods. Basically from 5.30pm to 7.30pm weekdays to study

Facts:

• The kids profile has 20 devices ( I have three kids with several devices)
• Random MAC are disabled
• System time is OK
• I have done many tests with my own devices. I have included my tabled (Galaxy S10 Ultra) in the kids profile.

BedTime

This is just and example. Today is wednesday, 10.30am. So I setup tuesday bedtime from 9pm to 10.40AM. Click save. I wait one minute. Then I try to surf the web (no cache) and I can surf the web wihtout any problem in the tablet. Ok, maybe the end time is very near? Then i setup endtime to 11AM. Click save and wait one minute. I can surf the web without any problem. Ok, lets update the endtime to 11.30AM. Click save, wait on minute. Then it works !! WHY?? There must be at least 30 minutues between the current time when I update the rule and the finish period of tiime? I have repeated this example many times

Lets play with begin period.

Its wednesday 11AM so I setup bedtime on wednesday from 11:05AM to 01PM and then I can't surf the web. Why? I have 5 minutes left. Ok, les delay the begin time 30 minutes. And then I can surf. So it seems that if the begin time is very near (10 minutes or less) then internet access is blocked too soon

Offtime

Lets play now with offtime.

Its wednesday 11.18. I setup blocktime from 11.30 to 12. Click save and I can surt the web. Nice !! Lets wait until 11.30 and see what happens.

Its 11.53 and I can't sur the web, nice. Now Its 12.00 and I can surf the web. Nicei !!

So in my opinion there is a problem with bedtime. Maybe is related with its 5 minutes granularity versus the 30 minutes granularity of offtime period

In fact the bedtime for my kids goes from 10.30pm to 6 AM and they were using their devices at 10.45PM. So I had to manually click the block button. It seems not very reilable to me
