I recently purchased and installed three solar-powered cameras, along with their solar panels. However, one of them has been consistently malfunctioning—the battery kept draining, leaving it unable to function throughout the day.
I attempted troubleshooting steps, including resetting the camera, adjusting its position, and checking all connections, but the issue persisted. A few days ago, I replaced the faulty camera with an unused one from the same order, and the problem disappeared. The new camera charges correctly, and there is no longer any abnormal battery drain.
This suggests that the original unit may have been defective. Could you please confirm whether this is a known issue and advise on the replacement process? I purchased the item from Amazon.fr—what steps should I follow to request a replacement or refund?
