Tapo D235 is a battery-powered doorbell, and it also supports hardwiring. The doorbell can run on battery power and no constant wiring is required. If you prefer to keep the doorbell connected to a USB adapter for charging, it is ok, but please note that the mounting panel does not have a designated outlet for a USB charging port, so you would need to figure out how to mount the doorbell on the wall in that case.
