Deco X50-PoE - Routing between vlans?
I've read a few cases whereby the 2.5Gbps port on the Virgin Hub 5 can be a bit tempermental with regards EEE (Energy-Efficient Ethernet). Therefore my unmanaged switch may potentially cause an issue as it can't be disabled (trying to rule out poor VM connectivity issues).
So I picked up a managed switch which allows me to disable the power saving options (inc. EEE). Created 2 vlans purely based on port numbers, and connected as below. It all seems to work fine, but I'm still getting massive slowdowns with VM and the occasional drop. Now I really suspect this is a VM issue and have an engineer booked, but wanted to ensure that the topology below is good, and should not have any issues? Thank you.

This is my setup:
After another VM engineer came out who was excellent, it was eventually traced back to the CAB. Moved my connection to another rail and all good on the setup in the diagram.

Was the engineer able to locate the root cause?
If there is more than one Deco X50-PoE unit connected to the same switch, please make sure Deco is set to Access Point mode. On the Deco App, the Mesh backhaul type should always be 
As for the VLANs, usually to simplify the network settings, it is not recommended to set VLAN tags, but if you do, please include the Ethernet ports that connect to the Deco X50-POE units as well as the VM hub in the same VLAN group.
