Model: OC200
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: latest

Hi all,

Im trying to migrate a ER7212 system to an OC200+ER605+SG2008P, because i need the extra capabilities, since the system is gonna be expanding beneath 10 devices shortly.

whenever I try to import the file to the oc200, i get file incompatibility...  i upgraded everything to the latest version, tried importing site and or controller files with no luck.

are both systems incompatible or am i missing sth?  thanks a lot

Hi, we can't restore ER7212PC's config file to a SDN controller, no matter which version.

@Vincent-TP What's the point of the site migration then? It seems its a useless feature? With the ER7212PC on 5.14.34 it seems you can't migrate it to anything, even if you downgrade the new controller, for both software and hardware.

Hi  @GoodOmens

Site Migration allows administrators to export a site from the current Controller to any other Controller with the same or higher firmware version. All the site's configurations and data will be migrated to the target Controller. The process of migrating configurations and data from a site to another Controller can be summarized in three steps: Export Site, Migrate Site, and Migrate Devices.

For 5.15.24,  it will allow you to migrate sites between different Customers in MSP mode.
