I bought a be550 for my nas, because the tplink homepage in HongKong show that can use link aggregation. But after i got it, i find everywhere in the setting interface, no link aggregation. I google and I foiung that  it is the mistake on homepage, actuully be550 cannot use link aggregation, the homepage in english is correct. WTF!!!!!  I think this is  scambroken heart

 

The chinese word in () means (5Gbps Link Aggregation)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe I didn't ask about the specific hardware version of your BE550 V2. Can you please clarify?

 

I'm pleased to inform you that we have released a new firmware to support Link Aggregation for the Archer BE550 V2, which version is 1.0.5 Build 20250520. Please check if you can check for this latest update on your router's web interface or via the Tether App.

 

Alternatively, you can download it from the website below if yours is a US version:

The BE550 V1 supports link aggregation, which is also stated in the manual from v1 on page 108 and 109. I can confirm this with my BE550 v1. With BE550 v1, link aggregation can only not be activated when IPTV is active.

If I'm looking at the manual from v2, the V2 doesn't seem to currently support link aggregation.

 

@Kevin_Z  Perhaps it will be added via firmware later?

@asalok Could you please clarify where you found this Chinese version on the Hong Kong website? I didn't see any mention of it.

 

I will check with the development team to see whether Archer BE550 V2 supports Link Aggregation.

  @Kevin_Z I buy it at tplink offical store in HKTV mall page, at that time, it show support link aggregtion, but now already fix. this capture is in TW page(https://www.tp-link.com/tw/home-networking/wifi-router/archer-be550/) for just now.

  @Kevin_Z when I got the product, I see it have link aggregatio in setting, but after i update to 1.0.3, It disappear, i remember that before update, it is 1.0.1, Can I downgrade to intital version

@asalok Yes. You can try downgrading to the previous 1.0.1 version to verify it.

  @asalok The official TP-Link website in HongKong provide old version firmware which does not support link aggregation (probably by mistake), so just download and upgrade your BE550 to new version and you will see that option. You can download latest version from global TP-Link website or almost any other than HongKong TP-Link website where you can find version 1.1.2 then update manually.

But the hardware I get is V2, in offical website not provide firmware download, and the lastest version is 1.0.3

Oh, I see...Sorry - my bad, I didn't notice that you mean V2 hardware, so yes - as someone said above V2 does not support link aggregation for now.
