When I go to the website for Hong Kong, I see two firmware versions available for download for the BE550 v2: Firmware 1.0.1 Build 20241101 and 1.0.2 Build 20250110. Both are for the US version.

 

 

On the English-language website for Hong Kong, however, only version 1 of the router is visible.

 

 

@Kevin_Z  What the hell is going on? Is the TP-Link website still not centrally managed, but rather by individual countries, as was the case years ago?

As confirmed by GrenSo, you can find the 1.0.1 version on the Traditional Chinese site. You can change the language on the top right:

I dont know what region version i buy, but i buy it on the Hong Kong TPLink offical store in HKTVmall. I think I should be HK version.

 

May be before I make the order, I only see zh-tw page, the page notice that it can use link aggregation, and then I make the order on HK store, I didnt notice that it is different.

I believe I didn't ask about the specific hardware version of your BE550 V2. Can you please clarify?

 

I'm pleased to inform you that we have released a new firmware to support Link Aggregation for the Archer BE550 V2, which version is 1.0.5 Build 20250520. Please check if you can check for this latest update on your router's web interface or via the Tether App.
