Add Option To Change DHCP Lease Time in Deco App

Hey TP-LINK !!
Can you please add option to change DHCP Lease Time from Deco App like TP-LINK routers do. Because my ISP ONT support by default (1) Day Lease Time but Deco support only (2) Hours but i want to change it to (1) Day because i want to use ip address range 192.168.68.2 - 192.168.68.254

What is the relationship between the ip address range and the DHCP Lease Time?
What do you really want to achieve?

@yves_b My IoT devices changes ip address many times a day because of (2) hours DHCP Lease time and i saw that on (2) hours DHCP Lease time ip address ranges are short like 192.168.68.100 to 192.168.68.250

@ARGamingPK1 Where does that 172.16.0.109 address comes from, if the Deco is configured to assign addresses in the range 192.168.68.100 to .250?
DHCP leases are automatically extended, a short lease time does not usually cause a change of address.
How many devices do you have? You can extend the range if needed.

@yves_b Haha 🤣 I think you don't know you can manually use any LAN IP address from Deco App and DHCP IP Range too 😂

@ARGamingPK1 You want to use address 172.16.0.109 and you configure a range of 192.168.68.2 - 192.168.68.254?

Hi, Deco App might not allow editing the DHCP release time for a short time. If you wish to have a DHCP range of 192.168.68.2-254, you can alter the settings under the DHCP server directly without changing the DHCP release time.
The default DHCP release time for Archer routers is also 120 minutes. I think it is a commonly used DHCP release time, which is not supposed to cause any potential network stability of the IOT devices. I'm afraid you might need to explain further whether they are relevant in some ways.
I think your fiber ONT might be a modem-router combo, as the IPV4 address of Deco M4 is 172.16.0.109. If you wish to have a constant IP address for the IOT devices, instead of waiting for Deco to support changing DHCP release time, you can set Deco M4 into Access Point mode, then make an address reservation for the IOT device on the fiber router.
Thank you very much.
Best regards.
