Hello,

 

In the De co app, when I go to More tab, I have a banner which talk about VPN protection.

But as fare as I know, Deco M5 has no VPN protection.

 

Why do I have this kind of banner?

Hi, nice to see you again.

You're right that Deco M5 doesn't support VPN Server/Client features.

I think it is the VPN promotion banner, and was pushed indiscriminately to all Deco users.

Would it be convenient for you to share a screenshot of the VPN banner?

Hi, Thanks for the update.

I think it refers to the VPN service provided by our cooperative third-party antivirus software, which needs to be installed on the clients themselves.

For Deco M5, it should be Norton 360, for example: https://hk-en.norton.com/products/norton-360-for-mobile?lsModal=1 I'll also double-check with the engineer later.

By the way, what will you get after clicking this banner? Can I have a screenshot as well?

Interestingly, when I tap the banner, nothing happens so thanks for the link.

Another accessibility issue, which I won't complain about as it is for ads ;-)
