Model: VX220-G2v
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I am having problem every 2-3 days with the 5GHz keeps turning off while the 2.4GHz always works fine. Rebooting the modem helps but is a temporary solution. I have tried various channel selection and width combination but there is no end in sight. I am currently on a combination of channel 36 and channel width 80 MHz, but is still interruped. Please help.

Hi@Rockinprad,

Thank you for contacting our community.

VX220-G2v is a customized device specifically designed for local Service Providers. Its software is tailored to meet the unique requirements of these providers, ensuring alignment with their specific needs. Due to the specialized nature of the firmware on your device, our ability to provide troubleshooting may be limited.

We can certainly offer some troubleshooting tips that may help resolve your issue. Please consider the following:

1. Let the modem get away from a wireless interference source, such as a microwave oven, etc.

2. Change the wireless channel into another one. You may refer to Changing Channel and Channel Width on AC VDSL or ADSL Modem Router (new logo)

If the problem persists after trying these steps, we recommend contacting the technical support of your Service Provider who supplied the device, as they are best suited to provide the necessary assistance for your device.

@Rockinprad When it disconnects, I can still see the option on wifi list but the devices won't connect.
