D210 - how to stop reset light flashing
At night, and also when we go away, we switch off the modem/router in our flat - how do I stop the reset light on the D210 video doorbell from continually flashing? I assume it's flashing because the doorbell cannot connect to the home wi-fi. Not only does it drain the battery but our neighbours may even assume there is a problem.

Confirmed with the tech team, the light in this device's state cannot be disabled. The LED indicator serves as a warning signal when the device encounters connectivity issues.

You can go to doorbell's Device Settings page, then Spotlight Settings to turn off the led light.

Thank you for your reply, I still can't get the light to stop flashing. In the app the Spotlight Settings only has the brightness control, which I have turned down to the minimum - 1. The LED setting is below the Spotlight Settings, in the Device Settings - I have turned this to Always Off. Is there some other setting that I have missed?

Many thanks for that; when I go away for a few days I will probably remove the battery. It is disappointing that there is no facility to turn the warning LED off or prevent it from flashing after a few minutes.
It is also a safety concern, anyone who knows this doorbell will know we are away from home. Unfortunately programmers only think of correct connections, not irritating flashing lights or safety concerns.

Wouldn't you like to be reminded if someone comes to visit when you are out? If the doorbell is online, you can receive doorbell ring calls when someone presses the doorbell. By responding to the doorbell ring call, you can let your friends or delivery personnel know that you're not home, will be back in ten minutes, or need to arrange a new time for their visit.
From most users' cases I have learned, they will keep the router on when they're out, as there are smart devices in the home that still need to run. For example, with a security camera, you can know what happens at home even when you're not there.

Thank you again for your reply.
"From most users' cases I have learned, they will keep the router on when they're out"
Most users - yes, but your statement clearly implies that not all users do this. My point is that with such sophisticated equipment, it must be very easy to provide an on/off switch so that the customer can decide? I personally don't care who rings the door bell when I'm away, if it's important they will text or email me; in London it is rare for people to visit you without calling or texting first.
It is also good security practise to turn off the router when it is not being used; here is advice from routersecurity.org: "Turn off wireless networks when not in use". This is why we turn it off when we go away.

You can raise a feature request post for the camera used in this scene. It can help to gather opinions from other users who share the same thoughts.
The product team will review the feature requests regularly, hot topics with detailed background information (e.g. use scenarios, reasons why you want or don't want a certain feature, etc) will be prioritized for evaluation.

@Ianst--art I had this problem, the doorbell connects to 2.4 ghz, if it is 5hhz it does not work correctly. When changing to 2.4 it stopped blinking, and you can turn off the LED through the settings normally
