I am trying use XZ000-G7 with Orange in Spain but I am failing. I have bought from Amazon (sold and deliverd by Amazon)

Using the correct GPON SN and Password I can get the status O5 but I am not able to get the IP Address frorm Orange (VLAN 832). All the configurations are correct in my router because if I replace the G7 with the Orange router configured as bridge my router can get the IP throught DHCP on vlan832.

The ONT Password is correct because if I change something I am losing the status O5.

How can I troubleshoot (cli) to correct this issue in the G7?

Hi@Ronaldo_Costa,

Thank you for contacting our community.

 

Please double check the configuration on XZ000-G7 is the same as Orange router.

After the configuration, please reboot ONT first, then reboot the XZ000-G7.

 

If the issue persists, please clone the Mac address of Orange router.

G7 is a ONT. There is no MAC option (only serial number and ONT Password). I need a documentation about command line interface to understand why the ONT is not distributing DHCP even though it is sync correctly (O5 event).

Configuring as stated by you in UCG Ultra is also not working and it is not able to get IP. If I replace the G7 with the Orange ONT, UCG Ultra gets the IP without any issue.

Hi Ronaldo, 
 

I am writing from TP-Link Spain.
Please try using Mode Z or Normal Mode. 
For GPON_SN, you can use the original from your Livebox.

Remember that this SFU Bridge is not homologated by Orange on their network, so they have mechanisms to block it.

My issue is not about blocking the G7 ONU, I am receiving the O5 status (so it is sync with the OLT). My issue is: The router or a computer are not getting the IP Address by DHCP from Orange. I need some debug commands to understand what is missing. Huawei and FRITZ!Box ONT works without any issue with Orange Spain

Hi Ronaldo,

Receiving O5 does not mean that traffic is not being blocked.
The srv_profile and line_profile profiles of Orange OLT are configured for HGU, not SFU. So please try other modes, in GPON Mode. My recommendation is that you use the original GPON_SN from HGU Livebox.

Access to the console is not available.
