Good evening I got the Deco BE65 V2 yesterday. However, the 2.4 Ghz band cannot be selected for the MLO network, although according to the data sheet the V2 WiFi7 2.4 Ghz supported. Am I doing something wrong or are the decos (I bought a pack of 2) defective? Greetings Dave

ich habe gestern den Deco BE65 V2 bekommen. Allerdings läßt sich beim MLO Netzwerk das 2,4 Ghz Band nicht auswählen obwohl laut Datenblatt die V2 WiFi7 bei

2,4 Ghz unterstützt. Mache ich da etwas falsch oder sind die Decos (Habe 2er Pack gekauft) defekt ?

Hi, the MLO network of Deco BE65_V2 doesn't integrate the 2.4GHz band. The main concern is about the MLO network speed. 

It is intended to increase network throughput, reduce latency, and improve reliability. While the 2.4GHz band does not contribute to achieving these optimization goals. So the MLO of Deco BE65_V2 only supports the 5+6 GHz band.

und warum unterstützt der BE85 dann das 2,4Ghz Band bei MLO ? Der Deco ist ja noch schneller, da wäre das dann ja noch weniger zielführend.

Das verstehe ich jetzt wirklich nich, kannst du mir das erklären ?

So why does the BE85 support the 2.4 GHz band with MLO? The Deco is even faster, so that would be even less useful.

I really don't understand that, can you explain it to me?

Hi, Deco BE85 supports 2.4+5+6GHz under MLO network, but the default bands are also set to 5+6GHz.

Most WiFi 7 mobile phones, such as Samsung S24/25 Ultra, can only use 2 bands for MLO connection. In this way, 5+6GHz would be the best combination.

While it does make sense that Deco BE65_V2 would be much better to add 2.4GHz into MLO, as its 2.4GHz is already capable of 802.11be.

Maybe in the future, Deco BE65_V2 could be updated to integrate 2.4GHz into the MLO network. Unfortunately, it hasn't yet.

na dann hoffe ich mal das wir da nicht auf einen BE65_V3 warten müssen...beim BE85 funktioniert das ja auch,
