My downstairs cable TV box is connected via Ethernet to a Deco unit in the Hallway. An Ethernet backhaul runs from that Deco to a second one in the Study, and finally the main Deco in the Bedroom. Frequently the app is reporting that the cable box is connected to the Study Deco unit, even though it’s hard-wired to the Hallway Deco. It’s like the connection is going straight through the backhaul as if the Deco wasn’t there.

There are no switches or any other devices in the way of the backhaul, and the issue persisted even after power-cycling all network devices. Everything still works as it should in terms of connection speed and such, I’m just wondering what’s causing this. I attached a screenshot of the Hallway Deco not showing the wired device, and it appearing under the Study one instead.
