So to put it into context, last night, on Saturday, an app simply didn't want to connect to the server, giving a connection error.

 

I thought it might be my internet and decided to check, but all other applications worked normally. 

 

Taking a look at the router log, by chance, I noticed this information that had never appeared before.

 

I didn't touch the router or the cables.

 

I wanted to know if this is normal, or if it's a possible hacker attack or bug. I don't know anything about routers.

I did a reboot through the settings, Reboot, and this information appeared, it never appeared in my logs before, at least not that I noticed.

Thank you for contacting our community.

 

May I know what the name is of the APP?  The log content seems to have experienced power connection fluctuations and firmware updates.Does the current router system log still have this situation?

It is recommended that you can try different network for the APP, like guest network, hotspot,etc.

  @Joseph-TP Hello, thank you for answering me, what would this APP be? I am a layman in this issue of routers, I saw these problems and it scared me

 

Today, less than 40 minutes ago, I saw that my router again tried to assign this IP address ending in 115 countless times. I don't know why this happened.

 

I also discovered that even though my devices are configured for dynamic IP, the router maintains their assignment, this has been the case since I bought the router a month ago.

 

It was set to 120 minutes, I changed it to 12 minutes, the IP assignment and I'll see, could this be because of the MAC change?

 

Regarding what you requested, I don't really know how to do this friend, if you could be a little more detailed

Thank you for your reply.

 

Please note that you have mentioned 'on Saturday, an app simply didn't want to connect to the server'. That is why I asked you, what is the name of the APP?

If you are concerned about security issues, please uninstall the app and refresh the network interface, and then compare whether the same error message appears?

 

Or, if you prefer, you can try resetting the router: Press and hold reset button/hole for more than 5 seconds to reset the router to its factory default settings.
Then confirm if the same error message appears again without connecting to the app?
