High Downstream Errors on TP-Link Archer VR400 V3 – Request for Support
Dear TP-Link Support Team,
I hope this message finds you well.
I recently purchased a TP-Link Archer VR400 V3 modem and have been experiencing a persistent issue with my VDSL connection. Specifically, I am seeing very high numbers of downstream errors, which are severely affecting my internet performance.
Here are some details for your reference:
Modem model: TP-Link Archer VR400 V3
Firmware version: Archer VR400(EU)_V3_1.5.0_220321 (latest version)
Connection type: VDSL (ADSL Platinum Plan from IDM Lebanon)
Line condition: My ISP confirmed that the VDSL line is clear
Filter test: The problem persists both with and without a DSL splitter/filter
Location: Lebanon
Additional behavior: After unplugging or restarting the modem, the downstream errors reset to 0, but they increase rapidly again within a few minutes.
Despite replacing the modem and verifying the physical connection, the issue continues. I would appreciate your assistance in diagnosing the root cause and providing a solution.
Thank you in advance for your support.
Best regards,
