E4R V1 Firmware upgrade issue

Hey,
I'm having issues with my E4R V1 (US) decos: In the app (and in the browser admin dashboard) it says a new firmware version is available to update, but I can't update. It just hangs preparing the update, either in the app or the browser.
My current version: 1.4.5 Build 20210310 Rel. 70861
Available version: 1.7.0 Build 20250116 Rel. 59369
What makes thing even weirder, is that I can't find any support page for V1 deco with that 1.4.5 build. The official US site is this one https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/deco-e4/#Firmware and has what's looks like an older firmware version.

Did you receive the Deco from the service provider or purchase it from the local market?
After checking the database, I didn't see the version 1.4.5 Build 20210310 Rel. 70861 either. I was wondering whether it might be a customized version for a local internet service provider.

I bought it from the local market, as far as I know, they were brand new devices. I bought them along with a deco S7, which I was able to upgrade it successfully.
What do you recommend me to do? which is the latest firmware for v1 US? (and why it's asking me to upgrade to 1.7.0)

Can I have a picture on the Deco APP/Web management page that shows 1.7.0 is available for update?
The latest firmware for the standard US version is 1.7.0.
Have you tried to manually update to a lower version via web UI, such as 1.5.4 here

By the way, did you purchase the Deco from a second-hand retailer? Usually, the units in the same pack are supposed to be the same model.

@peekabooUy You can try to download and install firmware 1.7.0 from (EU) website which is (EN) and the firmware includes every country code US/JP/EU/ID and others. So i think you should try the (EU) firmware.

By the way, when you updated the firmware of Deco E4 via web UI dashboard, did you use 192.168.68.1(tplinkdeco.net)?
Deco E4 also has its own individual web UI, have you tried to access 192.168.68.250 to see whether it makes any difference for the firmware upgrade?

@David-TP I think what @peekabooUy experience is the same exactely as me at my Deco M4.. (Upgrade failed, please select the latest version of firmware to upgrade)
why is that? is there something wrong with the unit or the firmware itself?
